Harlee Grace is a beautiful young German Shepherd with a gentle soul and a royal name to match. When she first arrives somewhere new, she can be a little shy and unsure of her surroundings, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet and affectionate personality really starts to shine.

Harlee is a total velcro girl who loves being close to her person. She’s happiest snuggled up next to you for a movie, resting her head on your chest at night, or sitting on the porch watching the world go by. She forms a strong bond with “her person” and just wants to feel safe, loved, and included.

Because she’s still building confidence, Harlee may bark at new noises, strangers, or dogs she doesn’t know yet, and she’ll need a family willing to give her a little patience and guidance while she settles in. She’s very smart and eager to learn, and with reassurance she continues to blossom more every day.

She enjoys walks, car rides (especially if there’s a pup cup involved), yogurt and peanut butter treats, pizza crust, and a good chew bone. Harlee is crate trained, learning her house manners, and does well when she has a safe space of her own.

Harlee would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard and a family who wants a loyal companion by their side. She may do well with another calm dog if they are a good match, but most of all she’s looking for someone who will love her, be patient with her, and treat her like the princess she truly is.

Hi, I'm 𝙆𝙖𝙣𝙚, a fun-loving, energetic pup who just happens to be 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙛. I may not hear you, but I act like I do. 𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙙𝙤𝙜𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙨.

𝙄’𝙢 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚-𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙, 𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙫𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. I’ve got lots of energy and love going on walks, playing fetch, and spending time with my people. I also fully believe I’m a lap dog… and I’m determined to prove it. When it’s time to relax, I’m happy hanging out in my crate on my comfy bed.

I’m very food-motivated (duck jerky is my favorite!), which helps me learn quickly. I’m already picking up great habits and doing well with structure and positive reinforcement. I also do great with baths and nail trims—bonus!

I’ll be honest—I’ve been known to “redecorate” when I get bored 😅 so I’d do best in an active home that keeps me engaged and continues my training journey.
